TPSM replacement

Hey guys so i was putting my summer tires back on after a cold long winter and i was in a rush and i heard the crunch of my tpsm snapping off the valve

so i ordered a new one does anyone know if i have to reprogram this one its a used one someone told me i need to reprogram it others tell me the computer will learn the new tpsm sensor

any ideas ?

You'll need a dealership (or a tireshop that has the tool) to re program the car to accept the new sensor ID(s). You'll also need the tire pulled off the rim to install the new sensor unfortunately.

Can they be disabled via tuning does anyone know?

TPMS. you mean, and depends what you're tuning with. in KPRO for dc5's you could disable MIL/CEL's i can't see why not
