TSB for brz idle stability will be equivalent one somewhere for frs\86.

if its been reflashed it should have sticker in engine bay or read calid with obd scan device. Resetting ecu wont fix anything other than clearing cel codes.

my car doesn't do it at all unless the A/C is on...

basically the compressor kicks in during the slow down with the clutch engaged (aka 0% fuel injection) and it makes the RPMs drop past idle causing it to stutter for a second before the car reintroduces fuel.

I wouldn't worry about it if this is the case.
This does this all the time when the AC is off and when it's On as well. I hardly ever use my AC btw. I disconnected my battery overnight to do a HARD reset. The problem went away as of Sunday and going to work Monday Morning. Felt how it should normally feel. Since I left work yesterday afternoon and leaving to and from work today the problem came back. Coming to a stop i get an idle shake and drop about 200 rpm which leads me to believe it's an ECU issue. So answer is it does this 100% of the time :|

Would you happen to know where in the engine bay that sticker would be?

They can put them anywhere but should be pretty obvious, only 100% way to know the calid of ecu revision is to read it from ecu with torque or obd scanner ect.

How is your cold start. Do you feel vibrations from the engine bay?
