RPM drops 200 rpm and shakes when coming to a stop

This has been happening since I bought the car 2 months ago. The car seems to get the famous "idle drop" when coming to a stop and I receive a vibration from the engine. It feels like the car is about to stall then goes back to normal idle. My car has already received the ECU recall flash from the dealer. It's not spitting a code but Jesus this getting annoying. Car is stock besides exhaust but issue has been happening before the exhaust install. I cleaned the maf sensors and nothing. Think it could be a dirty throttle body? If anyone has a possible idea of what I should be looking for or checking I would fkn love you!!

Hate to sound like a total noobie (but I am) where would I go or what would I ask a mechanic to do this?

OFT is a tablet that you can purchase for around 500 bucks, and it has off-the-shelf tunes. It erases the stock tune on your ecu and writes whichever map you choose to run.

I had this issue with my 2013, and I believe toyota released an ecu update, but Im not too sure. I never took it in because I hate dealing with dealer b.s.
I do have an OFT though and i love it

haha, you dont understand how easy it is! Although, it can be tricky to figure out how to download all the tunes and stuff on the computer. But if you have basic computer knowledge its a walk in the park

Take a look in the Software Tuning Sub forum. theres tons of info on it

Did you buy a used 2013? if so, does the dealership have proof of this update? I never trusted my dealership, as they wont give me any information until they run their diagnostics. Im not gonna pay 70 bucks for something I already did myself, especially if they cant tell me whether or not its covered under warranty until they run it. Even though they have the warranty info available.. the people in the service department usually dont know anything about our cars anyways

I bought the car second hand. I called the dealer and they just ran my vin. Maybe I'll try a different one in the morning.

I was. I put a smiley at the end. Have you not ever worked in tech support?
"Is it plugged into the wall?"
"Of course! I'm not stupid."
"Is it plugged into the computer too?"
"Oh snap!"

I think I just need to check with a different dealer.
