No, in that pic it just hangs down. I would like to get a longer cable if I could or an extension.

Get one of these http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/OBDII-OBD...item53fd65074d & route it through the side of the centre console crossing over to the other side just after gearshift the connect OFT cable to it - comes up fairly neat tucked up along side of console.

Sounds like a plan - do you mind clarifying with a picture? I'm a bit confused as to the entry/exit points. Thanks!

I can't seem to get the iMagnet to stick on that dash piece for more than a few minutes, does it stay on for you or just constantly fall off?

It's been on once the day I took the picture. I use it everyday to hold up my iPhone 6+. No issues at all. Be sure the plastic is clean. I used Armor All wipes. Make sure the suction cup is clean and not on the line. Is your car a BRZ or FRS? Mine is FRS. BRZ might have a different textured panel. I dunno, just some thoughts.

Do you guys leave it plugged in even when car is off?

I have dash cam that draws voltage when car is shut to record if car shakes or movement in front (with black magic pro for safety).

The more recent updates have the OFT go into a sleep state after a few min of the car shutting off. I don't personally leave mine plugged in though because I have a lithium battery and it doesn't have a reserve enough that I want additional draw on it.

@Shiv@Openflash

Is the connector going into the tablet a proprietary connector? I want to get something less intrusive.

I was originally mounting my OFT on the side window like most but its kinda annoying because you have to remove it when you open the door (sometimes I forget its even there), now that i have a switch I want to mount it in a permanent location. Currently I have it mounted on the windshield with the screen rotated 180 degrees but that dang connector is so big and un-bendy lol. If there is a 90 deg elbow connector or something for it, it would be awesome need something more flush.
