Don't forget that you'll have to update your tune once you put the exhaust mods on, so plan your mods carefully so you don't have to keep getting retuned and wasting money.

Retune with moto east is only $80 for "making minor changes such as intake/exhaust that does not change MAF size, injectors, displacement, or compression/cams"

So the total for this kit should be around 5.5 including the actual JRSC kit, optional oil cooler which I will get, dual catch cans, boost gauge, AFR gauge, and tune..

You don't need a boost gauge at all, and you don't really need a Afr gauge either.

Isn't that bad and could cause a blown engine, a light weight clutch and a light weight fly wheel? I read it somewhere I'm just at work and too lazy to find it right now but correct me if I'm wrong, because I also would like to save you in the case that I am correct.

You're better off doing lightened flywheel and lightened driveshaft as it'll reduce more rotational mass than the pulleys.

I need to make a clarification here. The Jackson Rackng factory tune is locked, and Moto-East does NOT have access to the tune. They are not making minor changes to a tune they do not have access to, nor own the rights to.

I'm guessing here, but ballpark sounds like $4000 kit, $700 oil cooler, $400 dual catch can set up, leaving $400 for a tune... Doesn't seem enough, unless he finds a used kit. Minimum for a tune should be $620. (~$20 cable rental, $300 license, $300 SC tune)
So I've got roughly $5720 if he passes on the gauges. Which I think he should.

Only the flywheel is lightweight. Thanks for the concern though. Pulled direct from Moto-East Bought the moto-east flex fuel kit and accompanying tune. Not going to be running the CARB tune. |
