Air bags w/ rough terrain

I'm used to the off road community with trucks and more specifically the FJ cruiser. While we take them off road there is a button to turn off the side curtain air bags as when at an extreme angle they can go off. My question is will our frs air bags go off if I drive it very hard on loose sand/gravel. Basically like a rally car . I just don't want them going mid drift and have them "sense" a side impact and deploy. Also is it possible to go into tech stream and turn them off. Thanks

Nope! They require very specific impact forces and locations to go off. Just don't go rock climbing with it!!!!
