Drove it like that for 6 months until I could afford to get the pedal welded back on. I have had a lot of cars but those two have a special place in my memory bank.

Although not really my first legal car (as it was driven on other plates) I had a 55 Chev 4 door hard top. Went over some railway tracks and it split right in half. My buddies and I jacked it up in the middle, bolted some 4x4s under it and I drove it for another month. Couldn't open the doors anymore and had to climb in through the windows.

My wife's first car was a 74 510 or more accurately parts of a 74 and a 75 and a 76 and yes the body style changed in between those years!
Burned more oil then gas and the dash pot would stick every once in a while putting the car into a rev range that would put an RX8 to shame!

It was a tank...used to load it up with friends at lunch time and go blow big giant donuts and slides on the Bay of Quinte during the winter. Good learning tool.

My first was a 1998 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4. I put a nice stereo in it with a 12" sub but that's about it. I don't have any pictures of it that I know.

Had one of the last model year Celica's. I loved that car, and watching it drive away after we recently sold it was harder than I thought it would be. Then I went for a nice FRS drive and was all smiles.

Mine was a 10 year old '64 Impala SS convertible. Exactly the same as the one below but not that one as I would have to dig through boxes of these things called "printed pictures" to find the real thing.
It was my pride and joy for several years but fell victim to some vandals (slashed top, seats, door panels, padded dash) and the good old 60s cars rust demons.

sweet ass car...my brother still has his 62 impala ss 2 door. Bad ass car with kick ass centerlines on it. Lots of memories of it for me. He used it for his album cover. http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/lawsuit

love how your first car leaves an impressive on a person. I find its not the so much the positives or negatives of the car. But what you were doing at the times and the experiences that were had with it

Not my pic....this was my very first car a 1968 Dodge Dart, 4 door, V318....many good memories of my beach/party car....
