We just recently put it in the showroom floor, so I'm pretty sure it'll sell in the week or two to follow...then we'll be out of FR-S's for the time being. Since I'm the "Scion Champion" (I don't like that title... Seems too comic book-ish), I've already requested the next batch be mostly manual, not that there's anything wrong with automatics.
Boom. The last FR-S we have (Hot Lava 2014 automatic) is sold. So much for this supposed decline.

It is funny how many people seem believe that the twins were designed as race cars or penis pumps.

What, did you buy the thing with your eyes closed?

About 50% of us have them as standard equipment and the other 50% have them as Optional add-ons.

Yep! You only get a silver star for being in second place for catching it though!

Realistically, the only reason I bought this car (well, there's a couple reasons) is because I got a super good deal on it because I qualified to 2 discounts, which made the car a great deal.

However! Looking back at my invoice with the total cost of everything, I sometimes want to kick myself because of other options I could have gotten into, if I shopped hard enough and wanted to get into a used (and probably abused) BMW, Audi, Merc, Vette, etc.

At the end of the day though, I have a reliable(ish) car, which I plan on maintaining so that it lasts me a little while. Although, I am hoping that when my warranty is up, I'll be in a secure enough financial spot to buy something else to daily (Maybe a Raptor lol) and make the FRS into a dedicated weekend TOY (Will not resemble your tool at all, @Tcoat )

New contenders coming out...they may not be light weight, RWD, or as 90s-ish excellent looking. But they offer quite a bit more on paper.

Nissan dropped the idea of a new S chassis/Datsun 510 (the IDX) because they got scared at how sales of FRS are going down. That, and they suck and make some of the most bland, ugly, uninspiring cars right now aside from Z/GT-R/Juke.

Despite low sales there's been talk by Toyota about still wanting to bring out a 2nd Gen FR-S. They'll win people back yet if they give that FA20 some boost. 250hp like where the SR20DET S15 Silvia Spec R's left off in circa Y2K. Big winner right there. Pull a premium before race wars.

Turbo. So throw in '15 WRX motor pretty much.

Another 50hp on top of that in a pinch. JDM FA20T's already making 296hp @ 5600rpm and 295lb-ft at 2000-4800rpm stock.
