Last couple of questions, when I get the car on Friday I'd like to have the headlight kit ready as I am not a fan of the Orange tinge. Thoughts were I can get this?

Valenteni Darkend lights are also on my to-buy list so would appreciate someone giving me a contact I can talk too.

Lastly..95 or 93 Unleaded?
Nice! Looking forward to some pics when you pick your ride up!

Before you buy your headlights, make sure you do your research, theres allot of options out there ...

Eg.
- You could oven heat and paint the inside your your headlamps black (Free) - (Search on Youtube for a DYI)

- Spray your rear tail lights red / black (Search on Youtube for a DYI)

- Laminex both front and rear lights (Search on Youtube for a DYI)

- Purchase them yourself from the links Sav posted above

- Or go to some dealers in Gauteng who are adding a +R1k mark up on what you could have done yourself

Cost Vs Benefit of changing your lights now? Not to sure...

Modding is an addiction, be careful of getting consumed... just make sure you do things that add value to your life and car lol

I would personally use the money to get a BRZ exhaust and Drop in Filter...but each to their own...

Enjoy

I got my Valenti's from thespeedline, via e-bay. I paid extra to have them door to door couriered, otherwise I probably would have still been waiting for them to arrive, with our non-existent postal service. It cost a lot, but I had them in 3 days, from the time I paid. They took me about 15 minutes to fit, after watching a youtube clip on how to do it.

You won't regret it!

This car is a real dark horse and inevitably you do pay for the individuality.

And I wouldn't have it any other way!

Take care in the wet! They can be widow makers if abused!

Leave the electrics on until you find a skidpan and feel the magic! And remember the mandatory 1600km run-in period. I treated my car very gently and did my best to keep the revs under 4000rpm for that period as stated in the owner's manual. To date I have over 52000 reliable km and have never touched the spare bottle of top-up oil I purchased 2 years ago.

Treat her well, she'll treat you well.

And then ask @sav to join the Telegram group and meet the most interesting bunch of car nuts (and bolts ) you'll ever meet.

LOL!!!

As for the headlights - I'm assuming you're looking for an HID kit. I'm not a fan of HID's in non auto leveling headlights but you're going to do it anyway so get a Morimoto 35w bulb & ballast kit from http://www.theretrofitsource.com/

Don't be tempted by the cheap Chinese stuff.

Slightly off topic, but @ft86, what is a drop in filter?

Ive been thinking of putting in a cold air system, but not sure which works best, and what is available here in SA. Is that what you were talking about.

Nope, it's usually just a cotton replacement panel filter.

There is nothing available in SA off the shelves. AFE Takeda Momentum is very good but don't expect to feel a massive difference in power, it simply doesn't work that way. It does sound awesome though.

Have a look on http://rallysportdirect.com/ then speak to Pierre at Potenza Chip. His prices are usually rallysport direct $ price * exchange rate plus VAT = landed.

I prefer the AFE dry filter. They make a very good drop in filter as well.

Thanks. Already have the BRZ exhaust on, and not sure I want to go even louder than that. Will check it out though.

It's not "louder", just a more balanced sound. I personally can't stand the horrendousness of the "sound generator".

Doesn't have to be a HID kit. I just dislike the yellow tinge and have a feeling it might not be very bright.

Any other options if I don't go HID?
