So I wrecked the car.. just a couple questions

Hey all,
I was just curious to anyone else that has had their car wrecked about parts. It's going to need the full front bumper and the passenger side front panel replaced. Was passing a guy when he decided to turn left into a parking lot with no blinker. Clipped his front end, hit the concrete shoulders head on.

Just wanted to know since these cars are so new, do the replacement parts come directly from Japan? Is it a long waiting list to get them? (I remember the fuel pump for chirps took 2 weeks) and are they already painted? (mine is a whiteout and I'm worried about them being able to match the paint).

I'll post some pictures when I get them from my fathers phone.

Thx!

I can't really answer much but I know you can just have them redo the paint until you're satisfied.

These are the pics, not that great but all that was taken... Just missed the building but hit that curve hard... The hood and passenger door (except for some heavy scratches) are ok (I think)

Parts are here. The car isn't that new anymore. If you did this back in July 2012 like I did they didn't even have part diagrams. Took 3.5 months after I hit the back of a truck. You shouldn't have a problem getting back on the road.

lol it's worse than the pictures show IMO.. Whatever the fender hooks to is the frame I believe and it's all mangled. It tore the whole from part right off. Much less the suspension took a hard hit after slamming into
curb head on. I'll find out more on Monday after talking to the body shop.

Yes! A curb hit like that can do horrid things to the structure of a tire. It may not be apparent for weeks or months but once they start to go they will create chaos.
