PSA: Clamping EVAP hoses under Intake Manifold, the easy way..

Moved the AC compressor and to my surprise, all the evap lines were already clamped from the factory, including the one under the throttle body towards the passenger side.

That's a first!!! Maybe they do read the forums and have upgraded their assembly line!

I'll add I picked my car up around March so i'd venture to say it was built at the beginning of the year.

I was shocked when I saw everything had been clamped, mainly because I needed something to do that day, but maybe it was a "rolling change", who knows.

What are the symptoms when this happens??
I clamped my lines when I installed the KW kit, but have recently encountered problems and I'm wondering if one of them came off.

The symptoms are a struggling idle and a very loud and very noticeable hissing sound from under the manifold.

Exactly. Nice to see I am not the only one that wanted to pull the manifold to do it.

I removed the AC compressor and still was a bit annoying to removing and reconnect the solenoid only to find out that i need to remove again because the line under the manifold is still lose.. i only clamped the two lines on the solenoid. How the hell do you get the line under the manifold? Do you have to remove the TB? Thanks

Yep, A/C compressor and TB need to be taken off.

EDIT: Here's a photo of how easy it is with the TB off:
