The MAP Sensor and tune that are currently included with the Base, C30-94 kits that are shipping out each day were the exact ones submitted for CARB.

I think it's very shitty of the Jackson squad coming on Kraftwerks thread, making accusations and always poking the bear.
Your behavior was a large influence in my decision to NOT buy your product.
Your business practices have lost a customer for life.

I appreciate the pointed questions about CARB and other things. It's important to a lot of customers that have already plunked down thousands of dollars on good faith, or are thinking about it.

Not being able to answer those questions would say a lot, aside from the fact that many have the same question anyway.

Don't be so caught up in the hype train that you don't do your due diligence or even worse stymie others from doing theirs. The information presented serves everyone's benefit.

Yeah I realize that which is why I didn't specify Jackson Racing. I probably could have worded it better.

Kraftwerks Supercharger Owners Thread

I was out messing around in an empty parking lot today and took some short footage. The sound from the video would give potential buyers an idea of how faint the whine is after install of cogged idlers.

Just wanna give any new buyers a heads up, definitely go ahead and do the hose clamp installs that is linked on the first page. Just had my solenoid hoses pop today.

Being my first track day ever, I was a little shocked that it happened while my car was cooling down when we took a break for lunch. Not while I was out on the track.

But other than that, the kit was a complete blast while driving the car full tilt!

ok, so I think I have an issue with my Bypass Valve. When I am partial throttle at around 5k RPM I get a very loud hissing noise that continues to get louder until I either shift or go WOT. I did some testing tonight and it appears my bypass is staying open under partial throttle situations when my boost gauge is registering anywhere from -12 to +2 or +3. The higher the RPM, the more positive boost it takes to close the bypass. While in theory, this makes sense, from what I have read it means that I need a stronger spring on my bypass valve to keep it closed under those situations. As I understand it, the bypass should only open when I am not on the throttle at all.

Can someone help me out here? Anyone else with this situation? Is the spring even upgradable or do I need a new bypass?

Here is a partial throttle video where you can hear the hissing of the bypass:
