supersports! or star specs...I think some of the best looking treads AND sidewalls were Pirellis of the late 80s and early 90s, like the P700

The original PZero is still made in a 225/45-17

Again: looks will not determine how good or bad the tire is.

Considering you had a tire that was meant for a luxury car/touring car market, it's no surprise that the PT722 would suck.

you never included that information in your OP, you were only looking for looks, sounds like you need performance.

get the super sports.

you're welcome

You guys all laugh at the OP. Meanwhile, many of you get custom exhausts to sound good, bigger wheels to look good, and a variety of mods to feel good. No difference. 99% of you would be better off going faster with driver mods on a stock car. Tire companies spend plenty of attention on how tires look people tire looks are a big part of what makes people buy.

Pilot Super Sports are what I'm getting. Saw them on a GTR and they looked goooooood.

Plus they're really good tires from what I hear.

Now thread dead lol.

This is the big reason why this thread is kind of all over the map. It's a purely subjective question being asked.

A great summer tire with a simpler sidewall and classic style tread would be Continental ExtremeContact DW.
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/BigPic...remeContact+DW

The Direzza ZII is a fantastically grippy tire, if a bit louder than the ECDW above. It has a tame sidewall but a very aggressive tread design without lots of sipes.

OP, you have to also ask yourself specifically which segment you would like to cater to when purchasing your new tires. Tires that have been suggested such as the Hankook RS3s and Dunlop Z2s are 'extreme performance summer' tires which for most people should not be daily driven. They can its just not 'optimal'. In contrast, the Continental DWs or Michelin PSS are max performance summer tires which can be easily driven year round depending upon your region.
