That little white protrusion needs to be completely pressed in by the white circular pad when you release the clutch pedal. I presume your new clutch doesn't allow the pedal to return all the way up... or something...

Yeah it's completely in. Like allllll the way completely flush with the plastic stop. Matter o fact I have it all the way out so that's basically what's stopping it from coming back any further.

Huh, I'm out of ideas then. On another note, if the clutch pedal isn't able to come up all the way, it might allow some slippage

Here's the official procedure:

(1) Perform cruise cancel conditions diagnosis.
Perform the diagnosis according to displayed cancel code.

(2) Perform the data list diagnosis.
Check the input signal of cruise control system.

(3) Check the cruise control command switch.
Perform the diagnosis according to the Cancel Code 11.

(4) Check stop light switch and brake switch.
Perform the diagnosis according to the Cancel Code 12.

(5) Check the neutral position switch.
Perform the diagnosis according to the Cancel Code 14 or 62.

(6) Check vehicle speed sensor.
Perform the diagnosis according to the Cancel Code 22.

You'll need a more powerful diagnostic tool to read the codes usually

I'd be inclined to think it was the vehicle speed sensor as it would have been unhooked when the transmission was dropped.
