This is both hilarious and exciting at the same time... It's going to catch tons of attention on the road. And for that, it may be worth every penny, lol.
I'd buy this if I had extra cash hiding under my mattress. Heck, I'm tempted enough to sell the mattress and go for this. Wait a sec, the wife wouldn't be happy with that idea... Hmmm... Wife or Slingshot?

Just got a response to my inquiry. One dealer is charging a $4,000 premium on top of MSRP for both models. Decided to call another, and they are not charging anything over but are not discounting as well.

Just got them in today, I'll leave this here
let me know if you have any questions. Got to do a minor test ride on it around the block, it definitely has the fun factor.

1. How's the braking? 2. Is it oversteer happy? 3. How does it sound? 4. How is it constructed (does it feel cheap?). The price is amazing. 5. Does it feel tippy on the rear edges? |

I'll hopefully get a full drive here in the next few days. Suppose to be nice this weekend. Missouri went from 60 yesterday to snow today. I'm going to drive my brz back to back and do a full review on it for a comparison. As of right now I just got to drive it around the block before we closed so I don't have a ton to say about it just yet. Updates to come very soon but a little info to get you by.
Braking - Much more firm, stopping power had a lot of feel to it. BRZ I would say has a very soft brake feel and I find myself engine braking some to help out on heavy braking. Oversteer - I only let it slip out once and not very far, I felt very in control a lot like I do with mine. I like drifting around as much as I do backroads so I'll get a lot more in depth with both of those. (Hopefully a track day in the spring with both) Sound - is a deeper tone than the stock brz at idle, still pretty quiet until you're ripping through the gears then it has a nice aggressive pitch to it. Construction - I would call it a nice 9/10. There's very few minor details but I'll get into all of them later. For the price I would call it spot-on. We expected an msrp of 30-35k when we first heard about it. Tippy - If you were blindfolded and put in this thing not knowing it was a 3-wheeler, you wouldn't ever know. (Initial reaction) Again this is all complied of about an 1/8th of a mile so I'll have a ton to say about it after.

More wheels would mean more weight, more "safety engineering" and pretty much end up making it a $50,000 car given the low quantities this will sell in.
Only real problem with 3 wheels in this configuration is pothole dodging. I want so bad it hurts.....been watching for a while now.

Depends on the state. States I've lived in if you do a motorcycle test in a 3-wheeler, you will not be qualified for riding a 2-wheeler. 2-wheeler test qualifies you for both.
