funny because the test riders said it tended to drift.

"But the shining point of the 2015 Slingshot is its handling. Cranking the wheel and giving it gas, the back end is drifting, the back tire protesting as we’re shedding rubber, but the vehicle never gets out of sorts."

edit: this was linked above already.

Are these road legal? Could've sworn I saw something that looked just like this and had three wheels the other day driving down the interstate.

Yeah, they are. Not as a car, but as a bike yes. Similar to the way the Can Am Spyder is classified, but this is actually more like a car. But due to lack of air bags and a safety structure, you are subject to all the laws of a bike, unless you are in Cali.

^Exactly. In Cali and one other state (that I can't name-derp), they are classified as trikes, and can be driven with a class C license

That's attainable, but only .88gs makes me wonder.
Needs more road tests.
Needs more wheels.

To be honest, ever since I played GT6 and killed the hill climb challenge, I've been a bit obsessed with the X-Bow. This looks pretty good, but I think I'd rather have the KTM.

The X-Bow starts at 88K, without an engine or trans. I think thats just for the GT street version. You could literally buy one Slingshot for you and 3 of your friends and still buy the first round for a year and be ahead.

I'm with you. If I got this, it would be as a weekend toy, and I would rather save my money to get one with the normal amount of wheels

My Grandfather-in-law is is a bad-ass savage of a dude...

WW2 Vet...Farmer for last 50 years...has put over 400,000 miles on his 4 Goldwings and dirtbikes (dirtbikes are fantastic for farmers for checking out a distant field)

Well, he had a stroke(s) and can't do the "real motorcycle" thing anymore...so he went to the Can-Am...now his back and legs hurt so even that is hard to get on.

He is getting old...and has money...I am sending him the link.

I think he would love this.

EDIT: After reading my post...I am not saying that this is an "Old Man car"...the dude who I think would like it, happens to be old. I think its neat, but for me, I will stick with a Sportscar or my Motorcycle.
