Hope to get the revised version soon.
Yours was an earlier beta version of Flash & Go, which was not released. You did not have all the features at that time. We now have added a lot more since then and working on dialing in a more general tune for all configurations.

As for the IAT sensor, we can rescale if you like, that would not be an issue. Just let me know the scaling for it and we can adjust the tune for it.

Currently the hardest part about dialing in this Speed Density tune is the idle, it is literally the hardest aspect to tune in this vehicle especially on turbo applications, auto or manual. What we have done is forced the idle to hang a bit in order to keep the engine from stalling which I know most people prefer if you had to pick one.

Though the rev hang ideal on some turbo applications we have seen this happen and we are working on resolving this in the tune. We are actually speaking to EcuTeK a bit about it, since we have found it has to do with vehicle running blow off valves and maf sensors in the charge pipes. Even though the MAF (being pure SD) should not be affected be have found it still has a small amount of control on the engine for some reason and we are working on seeing if there is something in the custom coding that might be causing the issue or if we can diagnose exactly where in the tune the problem arise from.

On supercharged vehicles this is not a problem, as there is enough steady load on the engine and usually no blow off valves to cause leaks at idle which we are find cause a little of the idle issue also.

Anyway we are working on it.

I would like to also thank everyone for their patience as we been working on catching up, it has just been overwhelming after SEMA, baby 6 weeks ago and Super Lap Battle tomorrow. LOL.

Can you give us more details what was done/changed? Was it just an update to the latest version 13.63 tune? Or were there further updates to it?

The idle issue was due to a vacuum/boost leak. The hose for the purge valve under the intake manifold was not connected or securely clamped. Its a common problem once you add boost to these cars. That valve wasnt intended to see boost. With its intent to only see vacuum the factory didn't clamp it.

We have seen these hoses pop off on many forced inductions applications and it will cause the idle issue and power loss people are experiencing.

JDL was kind enough to let us know the "P" code for this exact problem. The code is P0441 - Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow.

I have no clue how the ecutek works but is there a map for throttle control? For example, if i want to start closing the throttle in the higher rpm to reduce power, is there a way to do that?

If so, is that map locked with your tune?

Just a quick update.

We are working on a cold start (20 and below) update for the Flash & Go tunes. Should have something out later next week for the mean time that should get things rolling in the correct direction.

Cheers,
