Well I wish I could run it lol but my setup is made for a typical turbo not a Borg warner. I know its a great turbo, just hoping I can find something similar

I had your kit on my Rsx type-s back in the day and loved it. Top notch for sure. I can't wait to see what you have for this platform now!

They probably havent, but seeing as how borg warner turbos usually are bigger in size than most other turbos is a hint that they would need to use a slightly different configuration than that of their standard BW setup, probably not just an adaption to the manifold, probably another manifold all together.

Look at the footnotes and you will see why the 6758 was being outperformed on the lower end. Theorywise, the 6758 has lower rotational mass and therefore should spool faster, with all other variables the same.

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2394879 I'm not sure what was up with the Perrin results but real-world the 7163 isn't going to spool faster than the 6758, especially if you are using the .64A/R housing on the 6758 which is what I would definitely use on this car. The 6258 really has more than enough power in it to get people in trouble and will spool super fast. |

Technically, thats also taking into effect the CR of the STi that was using the 7163. The higher the CR the higher hp per PSI youll get from a turbo. So stock internals i wouldnt be surprised to see the 6758 spool about 2-300 rpm faster than the 7163, but loose about 20-30whp uptop.

So when we drop the CR to 10:1 with a forged motor, is the change really going to cause that much of a difference in response / spool?
