As for the OP, I'd either lean towards an Alpine or Pioneer. IMO the Alpine UI/Nav is the best that I used in an aftermarket deck but I haven't looked at double DIN units for a few years (due to the lack of higher end [SQ wise] double DIN heads).

- Crap radio reception - Crap bluetooth quality - OS incredibly slow and random freezes - Nav system not integrated but running as a separate app (even showing unreadable Windows CE pop ups at times) - Nav locked up permanently after few weeks - Voice guidance cuts audio like a samurai - Doesn't remember track position with iPod (so starts all over every time you start the car) - Uses current in off position (empty battery overnight, multiple times) - Firmware updating major hassle to impossible - Warranty consists of sending the unit back to China at your own cost |

Maybe I missed it, this site is much more popular then I ever thought. Ok I need sirius sat radio. All i car about. BESPOKE does not have the connections for the adaptor chips out there or what ever they are. after honestly 3 hours of google, i have not seen size of bespoke. I would be very grateful for anyone to help. I dont need 800.00 radio especially after i am putting a 1200 bespoke on curve. I dont need nav and all that crap. Would like touchscreen, to fill the big hole and sat radio. Any dimensions or ideas gentleman? Thanks in advance
Also, my bespoke looks like the 2014. it came with my 10 series. it does work with my android. voice talk on phone, pandora and aha. but i have sprint and its cheap but it sucks on connection on road trips. I Guess I could be fine since im in Auburn 98% of time. def wont spend 800.00. F u c k ing bespoke |

To be honest, you would be better off with a product that integrates apps on your smart phone and use your phones GPS nav. After a few years the maps in a GPS nav headunit will need updated. $200-300 updated. GPS nav apps on phones get free updates or are free with renewal of service($10-45). Waze is a great app that does voice GPS nav for free. Focus on phone integration and blue tooth functionality of the head unit more so than NAV capabilities.
The Pioneer AVH-X5500BHS does everything you would need. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...s/AVH-X5500BHS |
