anyone else get a really loud backfire if you rev out 1st and then push in the clutch to put it into 2nd? I get this all the time since putting the 2.0 maps on.

are you running catless? i get the same but im also running catless headers and front pipe. its nothing to worry about. its a little back fire from running with no cats. also @steve99 thanks for pointing out the maf scaling. car runs a lot better now and the a/f is pretty much dead on and where it needs to be. thanks again

I run 2.0 OTS and a catless UEL with no backfiring at all.

It's scaling really needed if you just have a drop in?

from what i understand is you only really need to scale in you change out the whole intake. im running the afe/takeda intake so i needed to rescale it. when changing the maf tube is when you need to

I realize this is a somewhat rare scenario, but I have run into it twice:
Loafing around a parking lot in 2nd gear, suddenly to get out of someone's way.
Starting from a stop uphill.

It is repeatable; floor it at 1500 rpm and it completely bogs. It never happened with 1.3 or 1.6

BTW the throttle calibration seems much smoother in this tune : )

Thanks Shiv!
YES. Been noticing this as well on Stage 1 91oct, only when I try to do a moderate launch from stop in 1st. Never noticed it before flashing 2.0

I never got a log to load properly to Datazap. Instead, I went back to the 1.6 tune
