For that kinda money, I'd just get another Twin lol. Quick and easy. And you'd have a spare complete chassis

...then slowly build the motorless chassis with an LS3 as a side hobby over the years.

So you'll have 2 FRS's...one with the stock FA r and another with a V8

My buddy told met he reason the motor is so expensive brand new, is because they have to put the motor in a frs to ensure it works as expected,(yes I know this may not seem like its very practical, but they have certain protocalls to meet), then ship, tax, labor, ect. if u actually look at it from a dealers perspective it does make since that a "NEW" motor could cost around 20k, still I believe and he believes it is not worth it, put a v8 in it or find a used one for dirt cheap.... im paying 500 bucks for my motor and install btw

This minus the ls3 insert 2jz, was my first idea but im in school and would have not time at all to build it, so I took the cheap route that will get me out of this Yaris rental!!!!!!
