the V2.03 tunes are now based on the latest D00C ROMs for USA/canada the earlier V2.0X were based on B01C ROM's i believe.

I don't think anyone has looked into the ROM logic AFAIK and shiv did not mention any changes to defined tables. But if you want the latest ROM D00 revision flash away. The toyota/subaru guys are probably just updating ROM for idle stability with A/con or something but that just a guess

Really dumb question - my ECU was A01C. I'm assuming I should load the corresponding A01c file to my OFT... correct? There's no benefit to loading a more recent cal (if this is even possible)?

EDIT nevermind the answer was right at the top of the page

Are you sure? that's not what the update says....
8/05/14
v2.03b
-Revised ZA1D00C XML that fixes minor definition errors.
-Revised Stage 2 E85 UEL D00C and Stage 2 E85 EL D00C files with corrected cranking enrichment values

and the earlier:
7/24/14
v2.0b
-Tune map support for only USDM ROMs
-All ROMs are based on latest factory software (B01C and B01D)
-91oct, 93oct and E85 maps are available.
-New XML files for all USDM ROMs. If you want to edit the OTS map, you MUST use the supplied beta XMLs. Delete the old XML file from your ROM Raider folder as they are not longer applicable.

All I see is that 7/24/14 says that the new roms from 2.0b is based on factor B01C and B01D

The newest update 2.03 only revises ZA1D00C XML, which shows true since all the other roms are the same and contains the same date as 7/24/14

If they are supplying a ZA1D00C/D xml files in v2.03 then the roms will be based on that ie D00C/D as the definition/structure is different from the B01C/D based ROM

The revision to the D00 xml files was because of a definition errors for some of the tables.

I think 2.02 was the initial D00 based ROM release superseded when the XML file was corrected.and release 2.03

You need to be careful which definitions you use to edit ROM if you have copy's of the 2.00 or 2.01 use the defs that come with the ROM zip file else nasty things will happen = car no starty ECU = no respondy = you not happy

from your post

The 2.03 versions are D00C/D based D00 defs will not work with B01C/D ROM,s and vice versa.

For people who just flash, this won't apply then, happy editing.

I did exactly that, and yes, it's worth it even for stage 1. The off-the-shelf tunes are better, you can modify tunes to your liking, and you can data log to keep tabs on what your engine is doing. Plus you get a discount on their header if you decide to go that route eventually.

Is the high rev cold start dialed back some with these latest maps? Or do we still need to modify those values with Romraider? It's slightly complicated looking, but I'm more lazy than anything.

Can we just get UEL/EL maps with the cold start ignition retard disabled? If I had to guess, I'd think there are fewer catted setups out there than catless.

I agree. I don't have a header - only a catback. The OFT was my first engine/exhaust mod.
