For anyone not getting an alignment after lowering...

After just springs and camber bolts maxed out, my car was sitting at...

Camber
FL: -1.47
FR: -1.39
RL: -2.07
RR: -2.11

Toe
F: 1/4" out
R: 1/2" in

I hadn't touched anything in the rear other than installing the springs, and up front I just put the whiteline bolts in along with the springs up front.

Specs after are -2* up front, -2.1* in the rear, 0 toe up front and 1/16" rear toe. The alignment guy I went to wanted more camber up front vs less in the rear, so I didn't actually need LCA's at all, and he got more up front with just a slight bit of slotting on the stock struts (plus the camber bolts).

The car drives totally differently now, can't wait to get it out on a track again. All the push I was fighting should be totally gone now!

What wheels/tires are you running? I still have space up front with 17x8's and 225/45 ZII's even at -2* from bolts/slotted upper holes. I could probably run 15mm of spacer and not be poking as well.

Yeah, a good portion of the toe issues would have been present even at stock height and without the camber bolts. I had it done at CanAlignment and Scott said he has seen some cars off by A LOT right off the showroom floor.

I'm just pissed at myself that it took me so long to make time to get it done right!

What offset? Mine are same size +48mm and I was really close with 225/45 MPSS. Just switched to 245/40 Conti DWs and the tire rubbed the perch. A 3mm spacer gave a teeny bit of room, then I switched to a 5mm and I'm much more comfortable with the gap.

I'm just over -1 degree with camber bolts in the bottom holes to maximize clearance at the perch.

Impressive alignment rig to be able to measure to .01 accuracy. What springs did you use and how much lower?

I took my car to sears for alignment. Gave them my specs and they matched it. (-2.0~-2.3f -1.5~-1.7r) I had 2 sets of camber bolts out front in my stock suspension and measured -2.3 on one side and 2.0 on the other myself before taking it in. The before adjustment specs sears got were -3.0L and -2.7R... That's stock suspension with just camber bolts. I think their machine is either mis calibrated or drunk. -3.0 is unheard of...

Mine are +45. I've got extended ARP studs so I can run more spacers, with 2* up front I want the wheels out a bit more so they aren't so sunken in.

Swift sport, about 1" drop.

His machine is definitely a good one, all the local racers go straight to him.

http://canalignment.com/

Anyone withing driving distance in Canada should definitely go see him for an alignment.

Almost the exact same setup I had at one point. RPF1 17x8 +45 with 5mm spacer at the front, Swift Sport BRZ, and 2 sets of Camber SPC bolts out front. Worked well for me.
