Looks good, I have had a few throughs of trying to implement the GT-R style scoops in my own hood. Look forward to seeing the final pictures.

Looks good. How many holes in total are you having done? Just the two?

I've considered doing the same thing to my hood.

Thanks guys, Yeah just the two for now. If needed I'll make templates and do the other side. I still can't believe how light the stock hood is, that's my main reason for doing this over a carbon/fibreglass one.

You should line it up with a water resistant mesh. Don't want water flowing into the engine bay.

I plan to make rain caps for them, water will get in there regardless while driving whether it be through those holes or the grille.
Plus I've used the water resistant mesh before and A. It doesn't like heat and B. It doesn't flow good enough and would render the cut outs basically useless.

I see nothing wrong with that lol. Nah I had the stockers on there for a week after I got tuned and then they died. I have 235-45-17 nitto motivo's on there now but I have drag radials for when shit gets cray.

hand made hood work. what did you end up doing to ''help'' prevent rain from getting in or is it still just open holes?
