I've been looking into this rear as well. Just trying to find one. Most are the open 3.73's

Yeah the m85's are few and far between, mine came from @Frs300 thanks bud

I can get the 3.73 gear set and install kit for about $500 with my shop account, just swapping the whole unit over would be great though

there is a few on craigslist usually go for about 450-550 shipped

Going to put in an LKQ request when I get to the shop Monday. See if I can get a cheap one delivered to me first without having to deal with craigslist lol

Yeah it doesn't just destroy tires in third gear anymore, it kinda spins but accelerates like a freight train now in 3rd and 4th.

I'm surprised at the poor 60ft times everyone is getting with their turbo FR-S/BRZ/86's on drag radials.

My Civic hits 1.8s 60 ft's without any pre-load on 24.5-8-15 slicks, and 1.6x is possible with pre-load. With RWD and 26" Drag Radials, I'd expect the 60ft to be atleast 1.7x on these cars.

Poor 60ft is what is keeping them out of the 10's

There's many other factors besides the tires that will give you a good 60ft. Feel free to watch the videos and you'll see that the tires just won't take the power.
Let's not forget the 6hr drive I made to get to the track and more importantly the 6hr drive home again, that plays a huge roll in how hard you launch

I'll see if I can borrow a gopro to do a cruise video but at 65mph I'm turning 2400rpm now and I believe it use to be 3100

No way to tell what gear ratio is inside a M85 until you crack it open correct? Local LKQ has a few but, didn't know for sure what was inside them no do they have an open yard.
