I can see a definite change in trims when the temperature is in the high 90's as opposed to the 60's and 70's. Personally I think if people properly scaled their MAF for their car and mods and someone came up with a modified MAF temp scale adjustment that was more accurate over stock these issues would be resolved for most people. For me it was just simpler to swap back to 93 as there is only one station near me that sales E85 and it wasn't exactly on my way to my typical destinations. I could just be the station I was filling up with had a bad fill of E85 or the percentage was to high for cold temps. I never tried adding a couple gallons of 93 to the tank, which might of fixed my issues.

Either way I won't be using E85 in the winter, it just wasn't worth it to me.
Thanks,

I got cold start issues(2 cranks)here once temps got below 15C but I was using E85 that was actually E85 (tests E90) so had to dilute it down with 5 litres of 98 RON petrol per tank and it started fine. We also have the E85 E-flex fuel available here and its probably better suited to us NA guys as its E% is around E65-E70 so little or no starting issues. The other United E85 is rarely good for the boosted guys who need the higher E% and more consistent E values. Unfortunatly for me (like you) the E-flex station is a long way away, the closest station only sells the high E% stuff.

The other good thing was at the lower E% you get better fuel mileage

The beta maps are the 91 maps for now, so testing with 93 isn't a good actual test. Once the 93 maps are released (beta or public) it'll be good to get feedback on them.

A couple of guys such as luckrider have already done this with success.

was actually a fair and relevant question :-)
Sorry, I actually meant just this part "cold winter mornings in Sydney" which sounds funny to me

For me cold start is when it's below -25C but I had no problems last two winters (on RON98 though - don't have E85 here)

So no need to turn them on, just load and go?

It's all documented in the Release Notes. But it's just like it's always been. By default, Launch Control is set to 5500rpm. Flat-Foot Shift is OFF (set to 0RPM). But can be adjusted as the user sees fit by using the correct XML file (which I have not released yet).

That's pretty awesome! I've been rocking my 1.5x tune with modified timing tables to account for 91 octane at 5000ft. I've been holding a solid IAM of 1.0 for the last few tanks, can't wait to do it all over again with the new version! LOL!
