Go with the gtx if u can afford it. The GT is a terrific turbo, I know I had one. But from what I'm reading the gtx is just that bit better at higher numbers. I will say get the aluminium oil pan if nothing else it makes running the turbo drain way easier and it's just cool looking lol

You have it hooked up correctly if your car wasn't boosted. Let me clarify some things:

1. PCV stands for Positive Crankcase Ventillation. It is possible for the crankcase to build up pressure especially if you are getting blowby past your piston rings. The port on the back of the passenger side of the block allows any pressure to be sucked out and into the intake manifold in normal operation.

2. Our car DOES NOT have a PCV VALVE. There is no check valve or any other type of valve anywhere on the car. The result is that if you leave the PCV line connected to the intake manifold, you will be pressurizing the crank case with boost pressure.

3. This can be fixed by either running a VTA (Vent To Atmosphere) catch can, or by adding a one way check valve that will let the crankcase vent to the intake manifold but not let any pressure go back into the crankcase when you pressurize the intake manifold with boost.

My advice if you want to keep the Custo catch can is to tee into the line going from the PCV to the catch can and run a tube from your breather line (one with plastic bottle attached) to that tee. This will turn your catch can into a dual catch can, then put a one way check valve in the hose from the back of the intake manifold to the catch can.

That will be very difficult on a stock motor with 91 octane and a GT28 size turbo.

Thank you for your responses. Everyone has been a lot of help this weekend.

I plan on getting rid of the cusco can and going with the dual radium setup since my cusco can seems to be pretty useless.

I was planning on getting a silicone T house coupler just after the air filter and bring the breather line in to there after it passes from the breather to the can.

Also, putting a check valve between the pcv can and intake manifold.

Also, does anyone know the diameter of the pipe that the air filter connects to?

I have the same goals as you on 91.

As I saw it, I could either go with a built, lower compression shortblock, or go with methanol injection. I went with the WMI.

I should be able to hit my 350whp goal with gtx2867 FB turbo kit, 3" Nameless catless front/overpipe, Tomei titanium 80R exhaust, tuned with Hydra standalone and Hydramist WMI.
I'm right around 300 now with 10lbs boost. I'll be running more boost soon.
