Car wont stay running for more than a second - P0102 & P0198

Hi all,

Trying to get my car running. Everything is in, when I turn it over it fires for a split second then dies. I am getting P0102 (Mass or Air Flow Circuit, low input) and P0198 (Engine oil temperature sensor high).

I bought a new mass air flow sensor, and am going through the wiring now. Any other suggestions?

This might sound stupid but I have done it:

Did you hook the intake back up from the MAF to the throttle body?

Still under warranty? If yes, dealer let repair it.

Ok, here is the $10k question:

STS-V bought a totaled FR-S and is repairing/rebuilding it. It wouldn't surprise me if the MAF sensor was damaged in the accident.

Consentrate on the maf sensor and wiring or connectors. Engine wont run without maf sensor.

Another guy on here had exact same symptoms after mouse ate through his air filter and some crap got lodged in maf sensor and car would just fire then stall

Maf Sensor is plugged in... I even ran new wires from the harness. Still nothing.

All of it is in, except the sound tube. Then again, it ran after wrecked with half the intake missing.

The original map sensor was cracked, but it still ran like that. I bought a new one, hoping this would solve the issue.

The issue is that it ran fine before we put the new underhood harness and front clip on.

I wonder if the P0198 code would cause the engine to shut down? I know many cars will shut down if they detect low oil pressure to protect the engine.

I can hear the fuel pump kick on during ignition for a second or two. And it does fire and run for a second before it just dies. I will double check.
