I used Ultimate Polish by Meguiar's and it took my bird etching right out.
Check out Junkman for swirl removing process on Youtube. I am going to go that route once I get all the supplies I need. |

This is the lance you want unless your pressure washer puts out like 3000psi+ I've used it on a 1400psi (rated not max) electric pressure washer and a 2500psi (rated). The higher pressure really produces a much thicker sudsier foam. |

In addition to immediately removing the bird crap you should also try to remove any bug splatters ASAP as well. Some of them will also etch the clearcoat if left on too long, especially if they are big 'juicy' ones.
A good detailer and a microfiber in the trunk (and a little vigilance) are your bumper's best friends.
