Just buy an is300 and do a NA-T build. You'll save yourself much more time and money AND have another awesome car like me.

Decide if you're willing to spend a minimum $15k (stock w/ r154). If you can swallow that, then add for mods.
I just got my built motor from the machine shop last night and am in the process of mocking up parts and researching my custom harness.

yeah, im aware of that. i just dont see the need to come ask here. if you have deep enough pockets to have someone do it, you dont need to know how its done. or better yet, just ask the people you would have do it.

Actually, if you want to go to an enormous V8, an aluminum block LS is lighter than a 2jz if I remember the numbers right (and probably more compact too)...

if you are looking to make lots of power, i would go with an iron block over an aluminum block.
