Just wanted to point out a really stupid error I made in hopes it saves someone else during the install. It didn't make any sense when I was doing it, and this caused me to double check the wiring diagrams, and low and behold, my haste led to an error. In regards to connecting the AEM Failsafe wideband, the white wire that you tap into for the analog AFR data is not the white wire coming off of the Uego wideband, but the whitewire that comes out of the AEM gauge cluster. This is logically obvious, and obvious if one spends 5 seconds to look at the AEM instruction manual. You will find this wire, along with the brown wire that needs to connected to ground for the analog output. Simple mistake, but no point in two people making it.

Hey @sportguy83
Do you use the whole length of the signal wire of the AEM gauge or you connect a new wire from o2 into the cabin and then fuse to the gauge output wire, meaning the AEM output wire is as short as possible? I'm thinking might be some resistance Issue because the AEM wire looks very thin! 我從使用 Tapatalk 的 SM-N9005 發送 |

Sorry to revive this thread. I have my AEM wideband connected to evap. I can see the data in ecutek. I'm using a power ground which makes my AFR off by a factor of 1. Meaning in ecutek it shows 15.5 but the gauge would be 14.5.
What are you guys using for analog ground? Can someone please provide a pin and connector I can look up in the wiring diagram? |

Installed my LC-2 on the rear O2 port today.
At first I tried using the power and ground ports on the plug to power the whole thing. However, it seems it shares a ground with the throttle body. When I powered it up, as soon as the O2 heater turned on, the throttle body freaked out. The LC-2 must be pumping a ton of noise across it's ground. I ended up running dedicated power and ground for it, and it seems fine now. Just something to be aware of. Other wideband setups may be fine, I dunno. |

Question to the gurus out there @Sportsguy83 and @jamesm
If you use the cpc for flex fuel, can you still use it for the failsafe? Are there any conflict issues? D |
