Should be fine. Someone is running 265's with that wheel.
See this thread:http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24491

Great deals on Continental ExtremeContact DW at Tirerack, $167 each. Best bank for the buck. I'm running these tires in that size, love em. Great in the dry, fantastic in the wet. Terrific all around tire.

Here's my setup on 18x9, so for all purposes same size. My offset is +35 running Conti DW on Eibach ProKit with -2.2F and -2.0 rear camber.

But it looks to me like you're adding about 14mm more poke.
Yeah, not what I'm looking for.

It'd be 14mm more poke on the wheel, but only an 8mm shift on the tire. I've thought it over and I've since decided not to go with these wheels.

I'm at the point now where I want to just open my own wheel company, just so I can get the wheels I want when I want. :P

Hello - I have a vague understanding of wheel sizing, fitment, etc., so bear with me if my questions are rudimentary.

The wheels I want are Gram Lights 57C6 18x8.5 +35. I would like to know if these will fit on completely stock suspension, etc. I also need recommendations for tire sizes as I would be upgrading those as well. I do not have any aftermarket springs or coilovers.

Basically I would like to know if I can get these wheels to work with everything being all stock. I am worried about poke and it is something I'd like to avoid or minimize.

Can I get these wheels to work without issues and all of my other components being stock, with what tires, and what springs if needed (recommendations please!), or am I screwed unless I get coilovers (which I won't be able to afford for awhile with the wheel purchase)?

I've had vendors tell me the 18x8.5 +35 should work fine for me with a stock set up, but I would like advice from the experts!

This wheel size will fit up perfectly without issues or rubbing. It should be flush. Poke is subjective so if it sticks out a bit for your liking, you could just add $5 crash (camber) bolts to pull the top of the wheel into the fender a bit.

I'd run a 225/40R18 or 245/35 for this wheel. Even with the wider tire you won't rub.

Great wheel choice.

ok...

Car is just on eibach pro-lines..

Currently running 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 staggered (ET38 fr and rr) with 225/40 on front and 255/35 on rear.
Want to sell em and get some wheels more functional. Thinking 17x9 RPF1's ET35 or ET45?
225/40 or 245 in a decent tire for track days/ autoX?

17x9 +35 RPF1 with a 245/40R17 is ideal for track and autocross.

Okay guys, hopefully im not in the wrong area asking this, sorry if I am. Basically trying to figure out what size wheel spacers I will need to get the flush look.

I picked up a set of drag dr-34s, they are 17x7.5 +45, wrapped with pilot super sports 235/45/17, car is pretty much stock but I will be installing eibach pro springs when I put these wheels on. What size spacers do I need to get the flush look?

My guess is 15mm front and 25mm rear but before I order that I want to be sure its what I need, my car has been getting a new motor put in the the past few months, hoping to get it back soon and get this all installed, rather not wait on spacers and get it all put on at once.

Thanks

I think you'll be good with 10mm spacers all around. 15 and 25mm spacers will give you an effective offset of +30F and +20R. With 10mm, your new offset would be +35.

Why are you getting a new engine? Issues?

Alright, guess I'll order a set of 10mm spacers. Thanks!

Major issues, while on a exit going 30mph cel and slip light came on and started losing power. Pulled over and cut it off, oil was pouring under the car. Something came apart in the head, took about 3" hole in the side of the head. Found these on the catch pan under the motor.

Dealer is covering it. They have had it since April 3rd, the day it blew up. They blamed it on over revving but I know it wasn't plus I have a auto.. It had a little over 4k miles

Ouch, sad to hear it. Seems like a rare occurence for that failure.
I'd be out of my mind if they had my car for 2 months, hopefully getting it back soon.

I have 18x9.5 +40 Advan GT's currently I have B8 shocks and swift spec r springs. Would I be able to run a 255/35 in the front and rear? The big question is would I have rubbing issues? I have read a bunch of threads some people say it works fine with no rubbing and others say it will rub. Trying to get a solid answer if this will work or not.
