We work manufacturer direct with JRZ, Tein, Penske, and Ohlins, but typically have JRZ, Penske, and Ohlins revalved/serviced locally.
Just gonna leave this here from earlier in the thread.

Are you in Norcal or Socal?

What???? u r??? we should meet up and exchange some experience!!! I have full SPL set up you can check them out, the SPL LCA is awesome ultra high quality part. The reason I went full SPL cuz my alignment will change after each track day likely due to flexing of the subframe, now with SPL full links set up with eccentric lockout bolt, it solves the problem!!

Yep, I live in Sunnyvale specifically. I'm always up to chat and talk shop though my experience is limited on most parts of the car. That said, I've managed to get most of my free time committed to track related stuff for the next month and a half (either with HPDE days, car being in shop to get a roll bar or, perhaps most excitingly, my first Lemons race and some prep for that).

Ya i hate down time cuz it takes away my track time which is the most important, 86 platform is pretty amazing stock and with better tires i was able to shave 8-10 seconds off lap time, i hv been carefully researching and adding parts one by one making sure it is functional and track worthy, i will be very happy to share all my experience with parts and shops i hv dealt with in the past!! Hope to see u at the track some day, too!

I've met a couple of people on here already, and at the rate I am going to track days I will probably keep meeting many more. I'm a track addict and no, I can't stop any time I want!

I haven't gotten into it yet, hopefully one of these days I will be going to an HPDE where it is happening. Where can I find more information on it? More than anything I'd love to compare notes after a session with another intermediate (brz/frs) driver.

Three major organizations - Hooked on Driving, Track Master Racing, and Northern California Racing Club, you can find their schedules on there website, i recommend register at least a month in advance to avoid sold out situation

Im intermediate level driver and will be happy to compare notes and share experience at each track

Don't feel shy about wandering down to Socal's 86 CUP as well; we're consistently getting 20+ cars turning out.

So far Hooked on driving is the main group I've been going with. At one point I considered signing up for the last T-Hill event but decided I should save my vacation days some. My next event with HOD will be the big 5 mile double day at the start of June which I am EXTREMELY excited about! After that I am also signed up for the HOD MRLS day at the end of June after which I will head straight to Buttonwillow for the Lemons race. I am not sure what other, if any days I will be doing in June. And of course I'm singed up for Fontana in early July...

I'm trying to get down there! I almost signed up for Willow springs last weekend instead of Buttonwillow but I decided I needed the track time at Buttonwillow more than meeting other 86 drivers (since I will be doing a Lemons race at the end of June at Buttonwillow I need to know the track better). Of course then I got very familiar with the infamous Buttonwillow dirt...

Big five miles event is in July i thought?? Im hoping to go THill June 29-29 to test my new parts, dont wana do testing at Sonoma or MRLS ... Too risky lol

Try TMR, they r my fave, Doug Gale is a cool guy

If we form a good 10 peeps group that go regularly, we can potential to reserve garage or covered parking for a good deal
