Alignment question?

I have a brz limited with tarmac 2 coilovers and raceseng camber plates with a aftermarket rear control arm.

Tires are bridgestone re-11 255-35-18

I'm looking for a street/ track ready car.

Any alignment suggestions.

Default spring rates?

-3.3 camber 6.8 caster 0 toe front
-2.7 camber 1/16" total toe out rear.

This is a track alignment specific to the RCE T2, for experienced drivers.

Reduce camber in the rear slightly if you feel the car is too loose on corner exit

I was looking for a hybrid setup that would work well on the streets and on a hpde event. 400 spring rates

I use -3.4f -2.7r with Ohlins R&T per Mike's recommendation on Michelin PSS 225/45R17 and 7.5in rims on street and Toyo Proxes RA1 235/40R17 and 8in rims on track, with extra 2deg caster in front and no toe, somewhat lowered, and love the setup on street and especially on track. Track photo of my car in a fast turn shows wheels have good angle under compression (could have gone 10mph+ faster). I do experience some push on grooved highways and a little bit of wiggle on power in straight line with JR SC but this is a fantastic set up for me on track. Not the same setup as yours but FYI.

You can't have your cake and eat it to... something's gotta give.

Zero out the toe in the rear for street use, or 1/16" total toe in front AND rear for stability. it'll hurt cornering at the track.

Do you want street stability or on-track grip?

What camber settings do you recommend for RCE Yellows?

Springs? They're non-adjustable. Do you have LCA and camber plates? (I'm guessing probably not, each of those supporting components cost 2-3x what the springs cost).

Yes, HVT camber plates, SPC camber bolts, and rear LCAs. I did not want coilovers since the car is a DD, but I wanted to be able to have a legit track alignment. So yes... my alignment is fully adjustable.

Woah. You get mad props sir.

Start at -3 in the front and rear. Get some pyrometer temps, and get back to me. It'll be much more willing to rotate than stock, but may feel "loose" to you due to the huge weight transfers from the increased grip.

I'm planning on buying tires before the event. 225 or 245s on 17s. Do you have a tire suggestion. I was looking at trying the Cooper RS3-S. They seem comparable to Hankook RS3s according to reviews but are very affordable. Any thoughts?

Also, should I buy some lightweight 17x8s (that was my initial plan), 17x9s, or just throw the tires on the OEM wheels? I have another set of wheels that I use for DD so these will be strictly for my track tires.

@CSG Mike I'm running Eibach sway bars too. Will it be too loose at -3 degrees camber in the rear with the bars. I'm going to start with them both set to soft.

225/45/17 on 17x8 RS3 will be plenty.

Coopers are NOT comparable.

The car will only feel overly loose if you're swinging the weight around. Smooth, controlled inputs are key.

Thanks for all of the input. I'll get the alignment dialed in prior to the HPDE day. I'll probably burn up the stock Primacy's and then get a dedicated set of wheels and RS3s. I'll report back with tire temps once I get it out on the track.
