Apparently AD08R's are plenty happy with a 245 on a 7" wheel as well, and are probably a tire you should be considering for autoslalom.

I just shared the official information without expressing opinions. I'm sure you can do it your own way, maybe even fit BMX wheels to your car to prove you're not "robotic". Good luck.

Forgot to add to the wheel lexicon. I'm on Motegi SP10. From the factory, they were +40, which were legal on the civic.

To use them on the FR-S, I had a machine shop change the offset to +42. The wheels are $125-135 each, and machining was $250 to do two sets of wheels. 17lbs each, you'd be hard-pressed to do better than that for less money. If I'm not mistaken, those wheels are also available as a +48, so then you're just into adding spacers, which I imagine is cheaper than machining.

Does anyone have pictures of the 245/40 on a 7" wheel? I saw something in CS discussion group however I did not see anything that was mounted on the car. The more the merrier, just trying to gauge things from different angles...Thanks

These Velox rims are cheap and light, not sure about their actual availability though.

Edit: not mounted on the car but it doesn't look wide enough to cause fitment issues.

Just curious: Is this with or without crash bolts?
