Slight mark/scratch on paint. Need help.

So this jerk not only parked like a ****, but also left a mark on my car. I don't know anything about clay bar, waxing, detailing, etc. So, if someone could please inform me on what I need to do to get this removed. From what I can tell the paint is not scratched, just marked. It's not the kind of mark that you can just rub out apparently, so I'm assuming I need to have it buffed out? Before I try anything I'd just like to get some opinions on the best route to take. Thanks!

I would try some rubbing compound first.

Pour a small amount (about the size of a dime) of rubbing compound on a microfiber towel, then rub the affected area until you see scratches disappear. Take a dry side of the same towel and buff out any left over solution

If this method does not work, they have touch up paint at your dealership

I hit a 2x4 on the freeway, going about 70mph. As soon as I got home, I used sine rubbing compound and the mark disappeared right away. See picture below

A mag light to their door panel also helps.

Is there a rubbing compound you recommend? Or do I just go to Auto Zone and pick up whatever they have in stock?

You can go to your local auto parts store and show them the damage. They might be able to recommend something for you. But the one I used was this one.

Went with Nu Finish's Scratch Doctor. Worked like a charm and took less than 5 minutes. Thanks for the advice everyone!

First thing you do to fix it is break that guys window and slash his tires. that usually fixes your car.

Still curious what left that mark. Couldn't have been a car, guess we will never know.

Actually I'm pretty sure is was a drunk girl. The place I was at was I guess you could say a hot spot for trashed rich chicks. Probably used my car to keep her balance and her purse marked up my car. Her parking skills also show signs of alcohol.
