besides it's not a commercial venture. i haven't charged anyone a penny. if i were making money, it'd be a different story. i'd be shocked and amazed if they were to discourage the type of behavior that they openly supported with the announcement of the new release.

if they want me to pay the fee and become a master tuner, i'll do that before i quit contributing back to the community. in any case my roms will be unlocked and information will be shared. people will just have to pay for them until i recoup the fees

We have customers in the Philippines running the OFT as we speak. We don't expect you to have any issue but a ton of fun and enjoyment. If you have any questions please feel free to PM or Email us or Call us and we will get back to you.

Cheers.

Ok sorry to bring this up. But if i decide i want an etune (im not in the states) and i have crap for fuel 91oct E10. Which would be better Ecutek or OFT. Looking at reliability/safety of tune and max power to be made. My concern with the OFT is that the tunes are tested in the states and may not be ideal for me.

I have a cable for ecutek already.

OFT and ECUTEK do the same thing plus/minus a few features which are not critical to an NA car IMO.

The tuner is what matters, and that goes for the off the shelf tunes as well. Either way, you should datalog with whichever solution you go with and either have someone revise the tune or do the tweaks yourself if there are problems

If i get the OFT who would do the fine tuning?

i know if i get an ecutek tune the person who sells it usually does the fine tuning.

is that the same for the OFT?
