sorry i think maybe the communication here is still going wonky! haha. i mean like with the limited brz's, they have a physical switch on the trunk that they can use to open the trunk without using their keyfob. similar to the door, the trunk becomes available to open when you're within proximity.

Number 9 in that picture is the actual physical switch itself. That's what I'd like to hook up once I do this myself. it'd be one less reason to fumble with the fob!

Hey are you planning on doing that video? I wanna get this kit but don't want to struggle.
I've installed sound systems and even got the nexus 7 in my 86. I remember when my mate bought a easy go kit for his FJ and that looked really complicated to install.

Let all Paypal some cash and get it out there

Got this installed using one idatalink module. Only issue I'm facing is the remote start function. I hear the unit go on but I don't think its disengaging my clutch switch. As for the push-start function it works great.

I'm having having an issue with my install. Advanced keys push to start/keyless entry using an idatalink bypass. All functions work but security indicator stays on and doors lock after ignition off. Any suggestions?

I have that same exact issue lol. I've been lazy to call Brian to help me out with it.

What I'm thinking for the door lock is something is wrong with the polarity. As for the light, I learned to live with it. I haven't found a way to disable it but found fixes to block the light? If that makes sense.

Im wondering if it has to do with the idatalink firmware. Hopefully someone has answers for us. I'm currently asking around on the Advanced Keys support forums as well. As per blocking the light, I figure you could stick a piece of electrical tape over it behind the cluster overlay.

I found that fix somewhere here. Also, are you having a problem with your parking light engaging? I'm having a crappy time turning off my Trac Control, but VSC is not a problem.

No issues with the parking light, however I no longer get an indicator light showing Trac off, though it does disable when VSC is activated

Ah, yeah I have a weird problem engaging my Trac off. I'm unsure if its on or off. Also, I meant to say when the parking brake is in engage the parking light indicator is no longer showing. Its finicky to get it to show ( Probably has to do what I did with my parking wire from iData-Link). Instead of me running it to the parking brake signal I grounded it to the chassis (therefore my remote-start doesn't work or I did something wrong with hooking the bosche switch at my clutch and not giving it a proper 12v source) Btw does your remote start work?

Yeah, so if I'm able to get my parking brake signal to work I can disable my "trac off" and it'll display it off on my cluster, otherwise the only thing that works is my VSC.

My remote start works fine but I opted to just ground the neutral safety switch wire.

Hmmmm, where did you hook up your 12v wire from the bosche relay connected to the clutch wire? I feel like if I fix that I fix my remote start lol
