I see a line like that and it seems to be connected. I'll have to wait until tomorrow morning when the engine is cooled off.

Hopefully this is what it is.. doesn't help matters that I am out of town (Texas), luckily I just happened to be pulling into a friends house with a garage when this happened.

I'll have to check this tomorrow morning when my engine isn't a million degrees. At least now I can sleep knowing that I might know what it is.

If I have any complaints about this car, it's that boxer engines sure are a pain in the ass sometimes.. but then again it's always something with every car

Well, That line blew off on the P&L shop car, twice... It came off on my car while being Dynoed, It came off on Gmookher's car, and many other boosted cars as well. It seems to be the weak link above 14ish psi so without looking at your setup, if it was running properly before I would bet money that it's that line.

Good luck tomorrow morning.

Haha two of us Okies had the same thing yesterday. It's an easy fix and you can do it on a hot motor. So easy a caveman can do it!

Now to get something on it so it's more secure? That's another thing!

If its end of the line connecting to the solenoid, you can take the solenoid off easy with a 10mm nut from the back and push it forward to reattach the line and add a clamp. Just did mine for the heck of it.
The other end of the line that connect behind the TB looks like the TB needs to come off to gain access.

Fixed.
Big thanks to you guys for posting the pictures and details.

It was the braided line as posted above and it came off on the end connecting underneath the throttle.

I don't see how some people can possibly do that without removing the A/C.

Unfortunately I am out of town and at a friend's house who isn't home. So.. no access to zip ties that I could find in his garage and had no way of getting to a store lol. I'll have to address this when I get back home. For now, I guess I will just stay on the low boost map. I probably shouldn't be pushing my car so hard 1600 miles away from home anyways.

They don't. People forget that that solenoid and the vaccum lines behind the A/C compressor actually get their vaccum source from the line that you had to fix which is closer to the passenger side of the car. I had the same exact line blow off that you had, and I removed my intake manifold to fix it. I know there is a picture of the underside of the intake manifold somewhere on the forum.
