Lol. All things in MODeration is the way to go. A reasonable NA build will be reliable as will a reasonable FI build.

This is the case here.
NA mods are only problematic if in fact you are increasing higher revs without building internals or doing something weird with ignition, timing and fuel. This also makes the potential damage from user error worse. Increasing displacement means more power due to more air at the same revs. The problem isn't size or NA, it's being built with the right rev range in mind. FI is really worse because increased cylinder pressure adds more strain at the same and lower revs if the block/internals were not built and designed to handle it and cooling is inadequate. |

Avg power gained is up though.... The top is minor. Tuned results will show how much it is really worth in the end
the oem tune fallsOff considerably vs a tuned oem car. I'm starting to get quite excited to see what the end result is tuned!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() You can't really see the spacer, the only way you can tell is if you compared the top of the hoses relative to a strut bar. That said, it clears a STi strut bar perfectly fine, lower bars or bars closer to the intake manifold cover may have clearance issues. Another poster already posted preliminary dyno results, I'll post the butt dyno in a couple of days. The dyno shows some compromise on the top end, but there's a pretty consistent gain both in the low end as well as peak HP. Can't say full results yet, but there is a net gain of around 4RWHP and around 7-8 ft-lb of torque. I'll post the full review from MotoIQ in a few days. -alex |

I wonder if the grimmspeed strut bar would still fit. Do you know how tall the blocks are?
