Gonna order one of these... I think the over-under configuration will work perfectly with the KW setup. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...49&postcount=7

Has anyone Teflon taped their reservoir cap? I'm getting ready to do mine just to ensure 100% seal. I got a little bit of residual build up around the cap. Did some pretty aggressive driving and noticed it afterwards. And by pretty aggressive, I mean very very aggressive driving. Lots of side to side vehicle movement lol

Not the cap, but I did Teflon the inlet to the reservoir because I kept noticing some fluid on top of the reservoir after longer/harder drives. I thought my banjo fitting adapter might be the cause of the "leak" since I kind of mangled mine while trying to remove it from the hose at one point of the install, but Kraftwerks seem to think that is unlikely. They think my reservoir might just be too full and the fluid is coming out from the cap during spirited driving (I guess the cap is supposed to provide an air gap by design). I still have about 2" left in my Rotrex bottle since that was what somebody else on this thread said they went to. Each time I check the fluid level, seems to be slightly more than max from what I can tell. Not sure if I should try to siphon some out or just keep driving and let it come out from the cap until it gets down to a more nominal level (but when I do this I get some smoke from the fluid dripping on the headers after I come to a stop).

I have a bit on mine as well but I think its the banjo bolt itself. The bottom one is completely dry. I thought I was low on fluid and wasnt as it started to volcano out when I added some. I did siphon some out and its at level.... thats why I think my banjo bolt is leaking.its a very minimal amount but I dont like it. On another note I was import face off yesterday and even with street tires and a very unfinished tune I ran decent. Stock cars here are running about a 15.4, I ran a 14.7 @97mph. I plan to go back after the dyno tune this weekend and letting a bit of pressure out of the tires. I ran the car how it would be on the street just to get a progress idea. We we'll see what's what afterwards.

may the schwartz be with you....

Okay guys disclosure: THIS IS NOT, I REPEAT NOT THE FINALIZED KRAFTWERKS BUT A PRERELEASED BETA UNIT THAT IS PROVIDED TO A SMALL GROUP OF PEOPLE. I'm sure the full production kit will have more powdercoating and will be "cleaner".

* Also, note there's a ding on the top of my oil cooler core, working with KW on getting another core but I'm likely going to pressure test it and throw it on if it checks out okay.

On to the pics, if you want more specific pics let me know. The threaded shaft I slid into the sandwich plate for picture purposes.

I'll get core measurements upon request.

Main bracket to core

Other bracket I haven't looked into placement of yet and misc clamps

Sadly, it is not. I'll probably look into an outside option before next winter.
