As promised, after spending the last week working feverishly on a resolution and negotiating the best options for you, our customers, we believe we were able to come up with a win-win solution. We realize this solution will not please everyone leaving some of you disappointed, which is certainly not our intent, and again we sincerely apologize to those who are negatively impacted by this resolution.

The solution we are offering to you is:

A. If you would like to proceed with your originally placed order at this discounted price for the Winjet(Chrome) headlights, your new price would be $251.66 which would require an additional $115.98 which we would need to collect to complete the order per set.

B. If you would like to proceed with your originally placed order at this discounted price for the Winjet (Black) Headlights, your new price would be $267.80 which would require an additional $132.12 which we would need to collect to complete the order per set.

We feel so terrible over this whole situation that we have created an additional toll free number for members on this forum along with a limited time, 20% off discount towards the majority of FR-S products at CARiD.com.

Please contact us at your special FR-S phone number 888-634-9437, which will allow you immediate access over other callers allowing us to provide you with prompt assistance.

You will receive an e-mail from us, within the next 48 hours, at the e-mail address you provided when placing your original order. This e-mail will provide you with directions on how to proceed with processing your order or requesting a cancellation for a full refund.

Once again I would like to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and to thank everyone for your patience and understanding during this time.

Sincerely,

Marc M.

Is the 20% off able to be used towards the headlights? LOL

Hahaha, that is actually exactly what I called them about. I got a bit of a run around got another call so I never got a real answer. I mentioned the fact that the Seibon TS hood they are selling for $765 is the same price as FT86Speedfactory and that FT86Speedfactory has free shipping, where as CARiD wants $155. Dude told me they can match FT86Speedfactories price buy didn't mention if I could use the 20% off. So who knows, you'll probably have to ask.

I feel this was extremely fair. Realistically they could have said "hey, it was a mistake, here's your refund, have a good day." How many times have you seen it done at best buy, sears, or any other place that had a misprint? It's happened to the own company I work for a few times. They are offering an extremely fair resolution that still saves you a huge discount over buying new elsewhere.

Is it as good of a deal as originally quoted? No, but it sure beats all the alternatives. And one alternative was telling you take your refund and have a nice day.

Thank you, Car ID.

Almost looks like a publicity stunt. If you have people adding parts to a website and think a set of headlights are under 175... If you have customer service reps telling people that it is the correct price no doubt.... If it takes that long to change a price after someone has notified you... You can see the amount of traction they have gained by giving you something at cost.

Yes, I ordered a set of black as a gift.
