Has anyone purchased the TRD brake pads?
Just trying to see if they are worth it once the originals wear out. If you have them, can you tell the difference? I don't think they've been out that long, but I hope some people can weigh in on it. Here they are in case people want to try them:

They'er slightly upgraded street pads, with the TRD tax. I'd steer you elsewhere.

Thanks for the advice. I guess it's just one of those things where I'm more comfortable adding a Toyota part. Kind of like if I were to do a short shifter, I would only do the TRD one. You know what I'm saying? If it's not worth it, then I won't do it at all with any brand because I rarely track/autox the car.

I really wasn't looking for anything specifically. I just thought that maybe when my current brake pads are done, it would be worth it to purchase these. It's mostly a daily and sometimes will go autocrossing. It's not a part I really need, but thought might be a worthy replacement of the OEM ones.

Mike will chime in I'm sure, but it sounds to me like the TRDs are perfect for what you said. There may be better choices out there for the money due to the TRD tax that was previously mentioned haha. I for one like their products though. |

Conveniently, there's a group buy going for it right now too. It's a little bit more than the TRD pad, but you're getting a lot more for your money. |

I would expect to see similar life from the W2 as OEM, as long as you're not abusing/cooking them. These are 100% street pads; they're perfect for dailying. |

I wish everyone was as helpful as you and the other CSG guys. How long is the group buy for? I should just purchase them and have them ready for when I need to replace them.
