BTW looks like we had a bad #1 coil on our car...should be fixed next week and back on the dyno within a week or two after that. tendogy can add our name to the bad coil after IC list. Leaning it out worked wonders and now running pretty well again. Think the IC just creates enough of a restriction that it pushes the AFR rich enough to show the bad coil if it is there.
Glad to see you figured it out.

How do you know you have a bad #1 coil? Besides a code? Any signs?

Innovate (Sprintex) Supercharger Owners Topic

Just wanted to update. Replaced the idler pulley but in the process of replacing it I found the true source of the squeak. It's coming from the alternator

Moving the belt back and forth replicates the squeak immediately.

Pulley was fine. I installed the new one anyways though.

Would be awesome if Innovate came out with something like this.
Added that to the front page... very useful.

Also added to page one.

That is really vague. Are you a tool salesman that has never worked on a car?

I installed two superchargers in the same night... about three-four hour job for each one. The instructions are pretty good, and the support you can get nearly instantly in this topic can cover any gaps.

You can feel it as a hard stutter. Log attached for what we saw. With a leaner mixture it was greatly reduced, but still there just a bit.

Hi Mike,
We've see 5 NA have coil pack #1 go this last week alone. All cars are around 30000km mark. Toyota strangely enough are not replacing the coils, but rotating them, clear CEL and advise car sorted.
Does not make sense, but sure after many more get reported, Toyota will have to acknowledge there is a problem.

I've been monitoring the oil in the SC and notice I've had to fill or top up on 3 occasions now.

First time there was only 20ml in the charger, this was from new to 3000km

Second lost 40ml after 1000km

Third lost 15 ml after a 1000km

Made a call to our local Sprintex agent, whom advises 3 other cars have reported having to top up oil.

Any of you guys experiencing similar issue?
What concerns me is the manual advises to change oil at 50000km, the way I'm seeing it Sc could need a change every 5000km.

You need to find a small child with little hands, then it is easy. But otherwise it can be done without moving the motor if you have 1/4" low profile ratchets.
