I've not touched the Idle air flow map or engine load map although I'm sure these should be dialled in. I just can't tie in the load to the air flow.

Those are all available in romraider. However, I am willing to bet a number of codes are turned off that would be thrown otherwise.

I only played with the after start timing (set it to 0 rather than -15) and the 9 target idle tables. What I observed is that it overshoots the cold start idle by a large amount due to the extra 15 degrees of timing advance and then has to fight to bring the idle back down to where it should be, it may stabilize after a couple of cold starts.

However, the Start of Injection table used during the cold start is NOT available yet with opensource tools and I suspect not in EcuTek either so the idea of just throwing an extra 15 or 30 degrees (if you set the after start to the post cold start base of 15 degrees advance) of timing advance with very late start of injection is not appealing to me.

What we need is an on / off bit to flip to cancel the cold start routine. I suspect there is one, but if not we still need a couple more tables to have full control.

That's broke for sure man, I can't imagine why you don't have any codes. I would suspect the dealer borked something when you had it in last time (the only time) as I don't think a reflash would cause that behavior.

Pick up a tactrix open port 2 cable and a free copy of techstream as a start, you can at least pull codes, code history, customize a few settings like drl's, seatbelt warnings etc, log all the obdII params etc etc. OP2 will work with all the opensource stuff, brzedit, and tech stream.

You could also go the ecutek route if you want but the initial cost is MUCH higher.

I also know someone selling their brzedit personal license, pm me if you want the details.

The MAF correction after start is the table that makes the real difference it seems. No codes have been turned off.

nope have not messed with them. If you give the accelerator a couple light taps it seems to speed up the process and it get out of the 1500rpm / ignition retarded idle faster. Although its pretty warm where I am so might not work in cold places.

This one.

Mode 1 is with the engine not running, 2 is the engine during cold start procedure.
