Dude, did I tell you how much I appreciated all the work you did on this DIY and install? The world is a better place. Even though I had a lot of trouble, I couldn't have done it without you. Good job.

No problem, glad you found it useful.

The goal was to find a good OEM solution and this was exactly what I wanted.

My Subaru dealer tells me that the part #99078AB330 is on back order for another month. Is it replaceable by a regular hose? If yes, which diameter and length?

There are currently 18 of those hoses in the warehouses throughout the country and they are ready for immediate delivery.

The hose is 1/2 inch hose, you could use any random hose from the store, the subaru one is pre-shaped for the bends.

EDIT: just noticed your locations says Europe...oops

Thanks for the answer, I'll try to find a US supplier that ships to Europe for a reasonable fee.

How long would you say the hose is?
Worst case, I am considering using a standard straight hose until the stock replenishes in Europe. Doesn't that sound reasonable (mechanically)?

The hose isnt terribly long, i'd just get a foot and cut it to length. Always better to have more then needed then not enough.

Using generic hose will work, since it's not pre-shaped it won't look as clean but it will get the job done

My pipe just showed up at the dealer yesterday off backorder. Have all my parts now except for some hose. Probably be a minute before I install them but at least they are here.

Considering doing an aftermarket radiator but will probably just wait and measure temps when at the track this summer. No reason to buy it if its not needed. And I hear they are a PIA to install anyway.

My friend's shop in Ontario, California (not the other Ontario )

As I mentioned previously, this is mostly inspired by other turbo water lines available for other cars.

Something like this:

Is there anyone reading who can help me get some part numbers?

I want to (if possible) use the auto trans cooling nipple shown in the top figure, see 11060, Fig 154 <AT>. My car is MT, so I am hoping that I can swap this out for the blank off plate shown for <MT>. What is the part @ 21210?

Cusco appears to be doing this too. See below.
