Hey @jamesm, when I can finally log these do you want to help me go a scale my MAF so we can see how much of a difference there is between the modified snorkel and filter compared to stock (because IIRC, Shiv rescaled based on the modded intake).
i don't know that there will be a difference, but i know the stock scaling sucks to begin with, so i'd definitely spend the (very little) time it takes to do it.

i've logged bone stock cars with 10-15% fueling error across the board. not good. not detrimental on a stock car with stock fueling components, but if you can fix it why not? perfection always beats mediocrity, especially when achieving it is free.

Looks like you just set yourself up to see how well your Stage 2 EL E85 tunes work on stock cars in regards to the MAF then

I am mostly doing this for the learning experience, but I am excited. I am making an appointment for next week to take care of some small TSBs (all of my parts came in for my lights, crickets that aren't there on e85, window seals, and gps/sat radio antenna). This stuff was supposed to be on national backlog for an unknown amount of time, but they got it all in and are taking care of it all in one shot so I will wait it out a little while longer on 93 till that is over.

fwiw it can only be as good as the stock maf scaling. error is present even in a completely stock rom, and really should be optimized on an individual basis. it's not really possible to make one MAF scale that will give everyone everywhere <2% trims.

Not sure if this has been asked before. Lets say we wanted to replace the factory O2 with a legit wide band, can it be made to work with the OFT to get more accurate AFR readings and such?

Yes, you should be able to run any aftermarket wideband with a 0-1v output. Replace your rear o2 sensor with it. Then log rear o2 sensor voltage which is now a wideband signal. Stock ECU should be happy too. I haven't done this myself with this ECU but have in the past on other platforms.

Would you need to reset the scaling? What about replacing the front O2 with a wideband?

We would only need to add another sister datalog channel that is scaled properly for the aftermarket wideband calibration.

I haven't looked into what kind of output the front wideband provides to the ECU. There is a good chance it's not a standard 0-1v or 0-5v output.

Yes, I'm testing a beta version right now. Works great. Just working out the max/min ranges which takes a bit of time. It will be released to public this week for sure.

Hi Shiv!
Do you test it for G-series roms already?
And can we expect v 1.6 release within the same time frame as the extended datalogging?
Thank you

he mentioned in another thread that any rom supported in the 1.56 release will be supported, including IAM monitoring.

@shiv@vishnu Mine still wont monitor the advanced multiplier. Do any of European/Australian chaps have the same issue? Everything else works awesome, i love seeing my oil and water temps since i just installed the cusco oil cooler.

A series ROMs haven't been added to the database for IAM support. Only because we haven't seen your ROM family until recently. We'll add it to the mix so expect support for it soon

Update: It should be log-able now
