OpenFlash Tablet: Enhanced Data Logging (Sneak Peek)

[ame]http://youtu.be/jrAC6v8GSE0[/ame]

Hi guys,
We just released OFT's Enhanced Data Logging update for the BMW N54 application. Below is video highlighting the changes and improvements. Now we are working on porting the same update to the FRS/BRZ/GT86 OFT. It should be released within 2 weeks. This means that you will have access to many, many more data log channels and more viewing options. Advance Multiplier logging for nonUSDM ROMs will also be supported with this update. Also coming up is the ability to store multiple data log files on the OFT.

Cheers
shiv

Same as always. Right around 13-14 samples/sec. Same logging rate regardless of how many parameters are logged.

Hey Shiv, great work mate!

What are the possibilities of using OFT for logging on a stock tune, or on a ecutek or brzedit tune? I know a few guys that are running AVO and FBM kits who could definitely take advantage of some periodic data logging (one guy has just blown his second engine with AVO kit and Ecutek, and the tuner believes it was not the tunes fault either time).

Yes, non-USDM ROM folks will not feel left out.

Thanks Trevor! I think the programming team is well situated at this time. Porting these features over to the other OFT platforms should be relatively simple compared to what we have done to get to the this point :)

You can absolutely log other tunes (Ecutek, brzedit or even stock) with the OFT. On any number of cars (not locked to a single vehicle). Hopefully the ability to log and view data conveniently (i.e., NOT toting around a laptop on the passenger seat) will help save some engines in the future.

lol - I think maybe my offer was more biased towards me wanting to learn than helping you guys out :X

With this new data logging selection features, OFT has become more appealing to me. :w00t:
