Checked Ebay.co.uk and there were a bunch. Ordered through them and requested a refund from Nigel
It ended up being about $100 CAD cheaper as well wtf

Just be careful lining it up. I used the template to mark the three holes where the tabs sit and the two notches next to them (hard to explain without photos) but did it on my own after that since the template was hard to hold in place and I didn't trust it. For the screw holes, I actually used a center punch through the screw holes to mark them before drilling. Worked out great. The rim of the armrest is pretty wide, so you have a little room to make the hole wider if you need and it will be completely covered when you install it. The little rubber things the screws go into are actually pretty ingenious. When you tighten them they get wider and really hold the armrest in place while preventing rattles. Good stuff. Look at the bottom of the search results for the international sellers. Here are a couple LHD versions for sale: [1] - this is the seller I bought from. Good stuff. [2] - Probably also OK. |

Thanks. I actually just ordered one from ebay.co.uk before reading your link and it ended up being the same auction lol
I emailed Nigel @ JDM to process my refund asap. My experience hasn't been bad with them thus far, I just don't want to wait. Hopefully they reverse the transaction quickly.

You should be good on that front. I commend them for processing my refund as quickly as they did (it took less than 10 minutes on a weekend).

Got my refund today.
I have to say, I don't appreciate the fact that Nigel JDM posts on his website that items are in stock, implying that you'll have it in short order, then tells you that it's at least a 2-3 week wait until HE recieves it. He told me that it was RHD arm rests that he has in stock, which doesn't do anything to ease my feeling that he uses bait and switch tactics. I might of let it slide if so many others didn't complain about the same thing. On top of all that, the one I ordered from ebay.co.uk is $80 CAD less after shipping.

I had orderd one two days ago and then read this thread. Seems to be correct. The blue cover was listed in stock, but the e-mails response to my order had nothing about when it might be shipped or any info about shipping times or expectations.
So I cancelled it and ordered it from Japanparts.com at a chepaer price along with another item which made the shipping so reasonable that I saved money on both items. And I know how good they are with shipping out fast. |

I ordered seat covers from them that were "IN STOCK" and they showed up well packaged on my door step in a few days. No issues for me

I ordered the sti front lip for the black Friday sale, and I don't remember the price, but I think it was like 550ish? including shipping. So i paid, then he emails me and says I owe like 100 more because of shipping was not listed correctly. I asked for a refund, and he did it within 5 mins. Then bought a used one on ebay fro 300 shipped

I finally received the engine cover. Everything was in great shape and in original Subaru factory packaging.
I just wish more GT86 vendors would be up front about lead times. I've never witnessed so many misleading lead times in all my years in the industry. They've lost any future business from me.
