This is great! I love seeing things like this.

I personally hate hacking the cars electrical wiring for ancillary items. For my Supra build, I never hacked the harness and just found the necessary connectors to put my splice in the middle in case I changed my setup later, I could return it the way it was.

I like this idea too and will probably implore this idea myself on my BRZ and might retrofit the Supra as well. This is much better than trying to source hard to find connecters!

Great build and great attention to detail sir!

Thanks the wiring has really worked out great, there is one wire tapped into a ignition hot fuse (seat heater I think) for signal and thats it, everything stands alone. I always leave the gauges dimmed so I don't need to do the dim with headlights option.

Small things but finally got the vacuum and crank case lines ticked off the to-do list.

How much clearance do you have between the strut tower brace and the little cover thingy? Looks really tight in that latest pic! Any issues with contact when the engine moves?

Plenty of room, I can lift the motor enough to remove the over pipe without moving the bar. That's just the picture making it look close.

It's really getting close. Only real things that will take time are items that still need to go to powder coat and then the hot side stuff going to ceramic coating. Nothing I can really do about those wait times.

I finish the bulk of the electrically wiring, I know that's your favorite.

To gain more clearance for the fans I've made these prototype radiator mounts out of the factory pieces. I have moved the top of the radiator forward and 1.25", thats gives a little over half and inch of additional clearance down at the motor of the fan. I also made a new radiator hose to make up the larger distance.

More room then some of the other photos Ive seen but only time will tell. This is also not the slimmest fan SPAL makes.
